Astronomy/Meteorology/Geology aka Earth Science

This class covers astronomy, meteorology, and geology through Edgenuity.  Students should work about an hour a day on this class.  You will find the class schedule (Year at a Glance) posted for each unit in the document below.  It lists dates that students should be working on a lesson and the dates of the Unit Assessments.

Each section has a separate Google classroom where I will post information about the class such as what lesson s/he should be on, so your student should check there daily.  All students will take the unit tests on the same dates, whether they are taking the HOLA class or the hybrid class.

If your student is taking the hybrid version of this class (Earth Science in Edgenuity), we will have weekly Zoom meetings.

If your student is taking the HOLA class (Earth Science in Edgenuity), there will NOT be regular Zoom meetings.  I will supervise your student's progress and communicate via email.

Another good resource is the website for the National Earth Science Teachers Association, www.windows2universe.org.  Most pages are in both English and Spanish and are available in three levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced).
