The HHS Justice Academy is an after-school organization designed for students in grades 10–12 who are interested in exploring the fields of law, criminal investigations, and forensic psychology. Through hands-on activities, case studies, mock trials, guest speakers, and interactive discussions, members develop critical thinking, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the American justice system.

The Academy is built around three core areas of study:

⚖️ Law – Learn about constitutional rights, criminal and civil law, court procedures, landmark Supreme Court cases, and legal ethics.

🔍 Criminal Investigations – Explore crime scene processing, evidence collection, forensic techniques, interviews and interrogations, and investigative procedures.

🧠 Forensic Psychology – Examine criminal behavior, profiling, eyewitness testimony, juvenile justice, and the role psychology plays within the legal system.

Whether students are considering careers in law, law enforcement, psychology, public service, or simply want to become more informed citizens, the HHS Justice Academy provides an engaging environment to learn, collaborate, and grow.

Eligibility: Open to all Hobbs High School students in grades 10–12. Students must have good grades and attendance.
