I earned my Bachelor of Science in Physics from Silliman University, my Master of Physics from the University of San Carlos, and my Master of Science in Mathematics from Negros Oriental State University in the Philippines. I also earned my Doctor of Education from St. Paul University and am a PhD candidate in Physics at the University of San Carlos. I have been teaching for 22 years. Outside of school, I serve as an LDS church music director and pianist. I am married to Dave Alvarez, a SPED teacher at Heizer Middle School, and we have one daughter, my most beloved G'Klyzie Alvarez.

I earned my Bachelor of Science and Master’s in Business from the University of the Southwest. This is my 8th year teaching and my 5th year coaching golf. I have a beautiful girlfriend of eight years and two boys, ages 6 and 4. In my free time, I enjoy golfing, cooking, fishing, and spending time outdoors with my family.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Arts in Teaching. This is my third year teaching, and before becoming a teacher, I enjoyed working at the Texas State Aquarium. In my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. I also have two dogs, Jack, a Chihuahua, and Quinn, a German Shorthaired Pointer.

I graduated from Xavier University–Ateneo de Cagayan in the Philippines and have been teaching for 23 years. I enjoy swimming, spending time outdoors, and taking part in outdoor activities. I also sponsor the Nature Trekking activity at HHS.

I completed my Doctoral work at Capella University. I have been teaching for 26 years in Hobbs. I have 1 son who lives outside of Washington DC. I love anything on the water. Lighthouses are my favorite things to visit.

I earned my Bachelor’s in Secondary Education (General Science) from State University of Northern Negros and my Master’s in Natural Sciences from the University of St. La Salle in the Philippines. An experience coach, in both sports and academics. After moving to Hobbs in 2023—and proudly picking up an old truck along the way—I love creating a welcoming space where students feel safe, curious and supported. Outside the classroom, you’ll usually find me spending time with family, trying new recipes, or staying active playing pickleball

Born and raised in Lovington, NM. Attended USW where I played baseball and obtained my Bachelors in Kinesiology. Background in Athletic Training and Physical Therapy where I plan to eventually be licensed in one of those. Outside of school catch me doing anything outdoors from hunting to fishing or even sports. I am incredibly blessed to be the husband of Audrey and the proud father of three children: Xoey, Ronald, and Lennox. I attended Texas Tech University, where I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees. During my time there, I had the opportunity to play and coach basketball. I am currently the head coach of the HHS boys basketball team. Most importantly, I am a believer in Christ, and my faith has been the cornerstone of the success and blessings in my life.

I have been in education for 28 years and have attended NMJC, UNM, ENMU, LCU, and Wayland Baptist University. I also coach the freshman basketball team at HHS.

I have been an educator for 17 years, spending 16 years at Houston Middle School before beginning my first year at the high school level. I have been married for 19 years to a teacher at College Lane Elementary, and we have two boys—one attends New Mexico Tech, and the other is a ninth grader. I also serve as a Science Olympiad coach and the head 8th grade football coach at Heizer Middle School. Outside of school, I serve as a reserve deputy with the Lea County Sheriff’s Office and enjoy hunting and woodworking.
