The Eagles closed out the regular season with a 31-13 win over Carlsbad on Halloween night - when they also paid tribute to the seniors in football,band and cheer. Because Hobbs is one of the top seeds statewide, the team will have a bye for the next round and a chance to recharge until the Nov. 15 state quarterfinal round that will be hosted by Hobbs.
