| Description: | During September 16th-21st, SkillsUSA Hobbs High School Chapter Officers traveled to Washington D.C. for the annual Washington Leadership Training Institute. Seven chapter officers (Jonathan Sarmiento, Mylene Gonzalez, Nathaniel Garza, Luis Lopez, Erik Acosta, Jessica Portillo, and Jessie Trevino) used this training to enhance their civic awareness, test SkillsUSA knowledge, and prepare for their congressional visits on September 20th with Senator Martin Heinrich and Representatives Steve Pearce, Ben Ray Lujan, and Michelle Ray Lujan. |
